It’s Weekend Time – Breakfast with the Easter Bunny & “Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, with Allen Stone”

Weekend Update! Looking for a fun Indiana weekend getaway? Or do you live in this area and are looking for entertainment close by? Check out the endless possibilities for fun and relaxation happening this upcoming weekend in Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana.

Easter is early this year (March 31) and in celebration the Easter Bunny is coming to Best Western & Buccaneer Bay on Saturday, March 23. Bring the family to eat breakfast with the Easter Bunny and then head to Buccaneer Bay, Lafayette’s only indoor water park  featuring multiple slides, a kiddie pool, a hot tub and an arcade.  This water park will have the kids (and adults!) laughing and having a blast as they explore the 23 foot winding water speed slide, dumping treasure chest, water cannons, 20 person hot tub, game room and the Jolly Roy Pirate Ship.

Saturday evening enjoy a night of music at Elliott Hall of Music during the “Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, with Allen Stone” performance.  This duo from Seattle has emerged as a premier national hip-hop group known for their electrifying live show, expertly crafted music, and innovative music videos and media. Singer and songwriter Allen Stone describes himself as “a hippie with soul,” and his music reflects both sides of this formula: his vocals and melodic style show the clear influence of classic soul and R&B of the 1960s and ’70s, while his lyrics reveal an idealism and passion that recall the folk-inspired singer/songwriters of the same era.
