Let Catering by Debbie, Inc. Cater Your Next Event!

2 Great Cities, 1 Great University, “One Great Wedding and Special Event Destination”.  Are you planning a wedding?  Or do you have any special events (family reunions, baptisms, meetings, etc.) coming up where you are looking for a caterer to serve a great meal?  Look no further than Catering by Debbie, Inc., a full service catering company with a combined level of experience that spans over 40 years in the catering field.

March is here!  It is a time to start planning our Saint Patty’s Day celebrations, Easter feasts, and summer family reunions.  I know when I am hosting a big (or small) event; I always start my planning around the food.  I ask myself what I would want to eat, what I believe others will enjoy, and what I think will compliment the special event.  Catering by Debbie, Inc., offers a wide variety of catering options for any celebration, making it a perfect choice to cater any special event.

Catering by Debbie, Inc. has a wide range of catering options from the “perfect picnic” to “creative creations” to “create a buffet” and more!  An example of their “perfect picnic” is a hearty homemade meal; bake steak, corn on the cob, coleslaw, baked potato and a roll and butter.   I think this is a great choice for a family reunion!  Want a more elegant look?  Their “creative creations” will make your event feel upscale and fun.  Order their watermelon porcupine, half a watermelon covered with kabobs of freshly cut fruits arranged on a platter of lettuce.  If you want to have a meal on a larger scale, their “create a buffet” offers planners a long list of items from baked ham, orange glazed chicken, beef stroganoff, etc.  Their “fanciful endings” (desserts) will earn your event high praise and have your guests begging for your caterer’s name!

Catering by Debbie also has a newly renovated catering facility with 5,000 square feet of space called the Tippecanoe Shrine Club. This facility can accommodate a large or small meeting, reception, or party.  They offer the following amenities; refurbished large and small dance floors, audio and visual equipment and wireless internet, room partitions for breakouts, full service bar, and a paved and lighted parking lot.  Whether you have a party of 10 or a party of 300, you will have a great experience at this location.

D&R Market

Happening Now!  Planning a stay in Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana, area? Whether you are looking for delicious dining, interesting attractions and shops, enticing events or home away from home lodging—a getaway to Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana, is sure to satisfy. Right now the locals are talking about D&R Market, where the perfect Super Bowl spread is ready for this year’s super celebration!

Have you ever thrown a Super Bowl party?  Or joined in the celebration at a friend or family member’s house?  Did you eat scrumptious appetizers, finger foods and desserts?  I hope so, because when I think of the Super Bowl the first thought in my brain (and stomach) is food!  This annual event is centered around the great American sport, football, that brings together people from all over the United States and beyond.  Yet, truthfully, the food is what brings my family together to celebrate on this day!

Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana has a host of wonderful caterers.  One caterer that is sure to satisfy your guests is D&R Market.  Its menu features the best in fresh meats, gourmet products, wine and beer selections and fresh produce. Its famous smoked boneless pork ribs, fresh salmon fillets, and renowned broasted chicken are just a few of its many meat options.  Party trays include brie cheese topped with dried cranberries, dill and almonds, crab and shrimp dip, b/q meatballs and more.  My personal favorites include Mr. Pat Johnson’s Beef Brisket and baked beans.  Its brisket is slowly smoked for 14 hours in a smoker and served with the chef’s horseradish cream sauce. It is succulent goodness!  And the bake beans are the perfect complement. They are rich with b/q sauce and shredded pork is added to make them rich and hearty.  I keep a current top “3 things I crave” list and these beans are on the list!

MCL Cafeteria

Happening Now!  Planning a stay in Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana area?  Whether you are looking for delicious dining, interesting attractions, enticing events or home away from home lodging—a getaway to Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana is sure to satisfy.  Right now the locals are talking about MCL Cafeteria, home of the Family Style Caterer!

With Thanksgiving right around the corner (3 days away!!) and Christmas not far behind, life can get really busy and sometime pretty stressful.  A great option for food lovers who want a delicious meal, but do not want to spend hours cooking and baking is to take advantage of a local Indiana caterer, MCL Cafeteria.  MCL Cafeteria offers a wide selection of homemade Thanksgiving delights ranging from moist turkey, creamy mashed potatoes, Parker House yeast rolls (my husband’s favorite!) to any pie a person could ask for.  I recommend their pumpkin and pecan. Why, you may ask.  First, it is Thanksgiving and a person cannot truly get into the Thanksgiving spirit without pumpkin and pecan pie.  Second, MCL’s pumpkin and pecan pies have a light flaky crust with yummy goodness inside!

MCL not only offers great catering, but they offer good ol’ Midwest food.  Long time favorites range from Angus Swiss Steak, chicken and noodles, baked tilapia (and the list goes on and on) with any side dish you can imagine.  I am a creature of habit and I order Beef Manhattan with green beans and a yeast roll every visit.  I have converted my husband to ordering beef manhattan, but he still loves their meatloaf and macaroni and cheese!
