Ken Double is back, for the 35th time! Can it be true? The calendar doesn’t lie! Ken Double returns to Long Center on Saturday June 10 at 7:30 pm for his 35th Annual Variety Show. Always an entertaining treat, Ken is turning to old friends to make this anniversary show truly special. Bill Kisinger will once again front the Long Center All Stars Band, Eileen Hession-Weiss will be on hand to vocalize, and Ken will be at the Mighty Wurlitzer Pipe Organ presenting his inimitable arrangements and accompanying a short silent comedy.

Weekend Update! Looking for a fun Indiana weekend getaway? Or do you live in this area and are looking for entertainment close by? Check out the endless possibilities for fun events happening this upcoming weekend in Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana.

Bach Chorale Singers present their final performances of this season this Friday and Saturday.  On Friday, April 28, celebrate Indiana’s musical heritage with the “delovely” music of Cole Porter and other Indiana composers at the Long Center for the Performing arts. The Bach Chorale Singers will delight you with this great presentation. The following day, head to the Immanuel United Church of Christ as the Bach Chorale Singers present Lafayette Children’s Choir – Kaleidoscope of Colors. Join in this joyous exploration of all the colors of our musical rainbow heritage!

On Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29, enjoy the beauty of dance at the Purdue Contemporary Dance Company: Spring Dance Works 2017. The seven new dance works are accompanied by original music/sound created specifically for these dances by students in the Theatre Department’s Sound Design program. Dance will come alive this weekend at Nancy T. Hansen Theatre in the Yue-Kong Pao Hall, don’t miss it!
